Mureka API v1

useapi.net is a third-party, experimental REST API for Mureka AI that runs on your own Mureka plan, from $9/month, instead of the official API’s prepaid per-song credits. Mureka is a music generation service from Chinese tech giant Kunlun Tech featuring its proprietary Mureka music models (V9.5, V9, O2) and positioned to compete with Suno and Udio. Mureka AI creates unique songs based on user-provided lyrics or description (AI-generated lyrics), selected musical styles, and references to specific vocals and songs, including those uploaded by the user.

Our API also provides comprehensive TTS/speech generation capabilities with custom voice cloning from audio samples and multi-turn conversations using multiple voices.

Our API supports all functionality of Mureka AI, including Pro subscription features such as the ability to upload and use custom soundtracks for reference, and to upload and use melodies (motifs).

Mureka supports up to 10 concurrent generations per account in near real-time fashion, with an average generation time of 45 seconds (each generation produces two songs). Generated songs can be up to 5 minutes long depending on your lyrics.

  • Song/speech allowances are shared (songs OR speech minutes)
  • Downloading instrumentals and the basic stems package is free
  • Stem extraction into up to 12 tracks plus MIDI costs 100 Mureka Gold, or 20 Gold for vocals + instrumental. Downloading the extracted stems is free
  • Lyrics generation is free

Credit top-ups available at $48 for 1600 credits.

Compare the above with the official API, which is sold as prepaid top-ups valid for 12 months, from $30 (1 concurrent request) to $30,000 (150 concurrent), with the $1,000 tier giving 5 concurrent. Generation there runs about 4.5¢/song on V8, V9 and O2, and the official API also charges for lyrics generation and stem downloads.
