Introduction

Kling 4.0 costs the least through the useapi.net Kling API, on the Kling AI subscription you already have. On Premier, a 5-second 1080p video uses $0.68 of the plan’s monthly credits, or $0.137 a second (as of October 2026).

Kling’s own developer API doesn’t sell Kling 4.0 yet, and every reseller that does charges more per second, at 720p and at 1080p. The comparison table below has each route side by side.

useapi.net is a third-party API, not affiliated with Kling AI or Kuaishou Technology. Your videos spend your Kling AI subscription credits, and useapi.net adds no per-video charge. We read every price on this page live on October 25, 2026 and converted each one to the cost of the same video, so the routes compare like for like.

Official Kling 4.0 API pricing

Kling 4.0 is already on Kling’s developer API price list, marked “Coming Soon”: $0.14 a second at 720p and $0.21 at 1080p, so a 5-second 1080p video would cost $1.05.

You can’t buy it yet. The page says access “is not yet available”, its prepaid packs start at $700 and don’t cover Kling 4.0, and early access goes through a business inquiry (as of October 25, 2026).

  • The Official API column is Kling’s preview price, which can’t be bought yet.
  • 1080p (mode: pro) needs a paid Kling AI subscription, and Standard is the smallest paid one.
  • The Pro and Premier columns include Kling’s limited-time 10% off for Kling 4.0. Without it, Premier would be $0.101 a second at 720p and $0.152 at 1080p.
  • Ultra+ ($544.99 a month for 57,000 credits) brings 1080p down to $0.129 a second and 720p to $0.086. Billed yearly, Premier ($728.64 a year) is $0.102 a second at 1080p and Ultra+ ($4,902.99 a year) is $0.097. The yearly figures assume you use the credits.
  • The same credit price applies on all three Kling 4.0 endpoints: text-to-video, image-to-video with start, end and keyframe images, and Omni with reference images, elements and voices. Every video comes with a stereo soundtrack, from 3 to 30 seconds.

The cost calculator on the Kling API page prices Kling 4.0 and every other Kling model on each subscription, yearly billing included.

Kling 4.0 API pricing across resellers

Several API resellers already sell Kling 4.0 per second of output. Here is every rate we could verify, read from each vendor’s live page on October 25, 2026, with no video input:

Route 720p, per second 1080p, per second 1080p, 5 s Notes
useapi.net, Kling Premier $0.091 $0.137 $0.68 118 five-second 1080p videos a month on the $80.96 plan
useapi.net, Kling Pro $0.098 $0.147 $0.73 44 five-second 1080p videos a month on the $32.56 plan
UnificAlly $0.1134 $0.1701 $0.85 10% launch sale to October 29, about $0.126 and $0.189 after it
Kling preview price $0.14 $0.21 $1.05 not sold yet, prepaid packs from $700
Kie.ai $0.1425 $0.2125 $1.06 about 10% less with the bonus credits on larger top-ups
fal.ai $0.157 $0.235 $1.18 the same rate for text-to-video and image-to-video
Runware $0.157 $0.235 $1.18
WaveSpeedAI $0.157 $0.235 $1.18 a 25% promotion was showing on October 25

The “Kling 4.0 API price” quoted around the web, about $0.11 to $0.14 a second, is the 720p rate, and the lowest of those is a launch sale. When you compare, match the resolution and check for a promotion.

What the subscription figures assume

A subscription price per video holds when you use the plan’s credits. Premier’s 8,000 credits a month make 118 five-second 1080p videos or 19 thirty-second ones. For more volume, connect several Kling accounts to one useapi.net token and it spreads jobs across them (Run several Kling accounts), or buy Kling credit top-ups.

Kling also sets the price. The 10% Kling 4.0 discount is marked limited-time, so check the live plans page before you commit spend. Even without it, Premier’s $0.152 a second at 1080p stays below every 1080p reseller rate above.

To make your first Kling 4.0 video, the Kling 4.0 tutorial walks through one real run with curl, from the request to the downloaded MP4, plus 1080p, 30-second, 21:9 and keyframe variants.
