Dreamina API

This is a third-party API for Dreamina by ByteDance. It uses your Dreamina subscription: Free, Basic $15, Standard $36, Advanced $79 to $320 or Ultra $520 a month in the US (as of October 2026). It makes video with ByteDance’s Seed models Seedance 2.5, 2.0, 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini, with HappyHorse 1.1 and Wan 3.0 on Canada accounts, and images with Seedream, GPT Image 2.5 and Nano Banana Pro, through a REST API. Seedance 2.5 here accepts real faces and makes videos up to 3 minutes long. On Standard, a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.0 Fast video uses $0.37 of the plan’s monthly credits, against $0.60 a video on ByteDance’s own API.

US and Canada (CA) accounts run the same resolutions on Seedance 2.5, up to 1080p, and on the Seedance 2.0 models, up to 4K. The models marked CA only and 1080p on the older Seedance models need a Canada-region account, and Seedream picks the aspect ratio for you when you don’t set one. References are images, videos and audio you upload to the account.
Pricing
What one 5-second video costs on ByteDance’s BytePlus ModelArk API and on each US Dreamina subscription billed monthly (as of October 2026). Each subscription comes with a monthly number of credits, and each video uses a set number of them, so a video costs its share of the subscription.

- A free Dreamina account works too: it makes Seedream 4.6 images on Dreamina’s free daily credits, which GET accounts/
accountcollects once a day. Seedance video needs a paid subscription, and only paid subscriptions remove Dreamina’s AI badge from images. - Dreamina’s paid subscriptions also include video upscaling and 60 FPS, and Advanced and Ultra make Seedream 4.0 images at 4K free until November 6, 2026.
- BytePlus runs Seedance only after you buy a prepaid resource pack, from about $30, which expires after 90 days.
- Canada-region subscriptions cost Basic C$20.49, Standard C$50, Advanced from C$109.99 or Ultra C$725 a month. A 5-second Seedance 2.0 video at 1080p costs about $1.86 on Canada’s Advanced and $1.87 on the US Advanced, against $1.87 on BytePlus.
- Larger Advanced subscriptions give 17,600 to 35,500 credits a month for $159 to $320. Yearly billing and the price per second of every model are in the cost calculator below.

Seedance 2.5 bills a reference video’s duration on top of the output, so a 4-second video from a 5-second reference bills 9 seconds, at the lower with-reference rate, which now applies at 480p only.
Canada costs up to 25% less per second (on Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini above 720p, and the same on Mini at 720p), because its subscription buys 153 credits per US dollar against 109 in the US, even though each video uses more credits. Canada also has HappyHorse 1.1, Wan 3.0, Seedance 1.0 Pro and Fast, and 1080p on Seedance 1.5 Pro.

Yearly billing lowers the US Advanced subscription to $900 a year ($75 a month), and Canada’s to C$1,299.99 a year. Setup Dreamina has the credits behind each rate.

A single $15/month subscription covers every API on useapi.net — one token, all services. You connect up to 3 accounts per service, each with its own website subscription, and useapi.net handles the REST API, load balancing, and polling. Need more accounts? Each extra subscription is $10/month and adds 3 more accounts per service.

Run several Dreamina accounts
Video and image requests don’t need account: each job goes to one of your Dreamina accounts that has a free job slot, within the maxJobs limit (1 to 50, 10 by default) you set for each account with POST accounts. When every account is busy you get 429, so wait and send it again. Pass account, such as CA:[email protected], to run a job on a specific account. A job that uses an uploaded image, video or audio runs on the account that holds it, and GET scheduler lists the jobs running on each account.
Every generation request can also send its result to your webhook with replyUrl, so you don’t have to poll. Most videos take 60 to 180 seconds, while Seedance 2.5 long videos and edits took 13 to 17 minutes in our tests.

Questions
Does Dreamina have an API?
Through useapi.net, yes. The useapi.net Dreamina API runs Seedance 2.5, 2.0, 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini, and Seedream, GPT Image 2.5 and Nano Banana Pro images over REST on your Dreamina subscription. Dreamina itself is a website with no developer API (as of October 2026). A runnable Node.js example is on GitHub at useapi/dreamina-api, and the Dreamina tutorial walks through it.
How much does the Dreamina API cost?
Through useapi.net, a 5-second Seedance 2.0 Fast video at 720p costs $0.37 on Dreamina Advanced, against $0.60 on ByteDance’s BytePlus ModelArk, and Seedance 2.0 Mini costs $0.23 against $0.38 (as of October 2026). BytePlus also needs a prepaid resource pack before Seedance runs. The price table shows each model on each subscription, and the Seedance pricing comparison prices every route.
Is there a Dreamina API key?
Through useapi.net, you use our API token, since Dreamina issues no API key, and connect your Dreamina account once with its email and password through Setup Dreamina, with no BytePlus account and no prepaid pack. Both regions run Seedance 2.5 and the Seedance 2.0 models at the same resolutions, up to 4K. Pick a Canada-region account for Seedance 1.0 Pro and 1.0 Fast and 1080p on Seedance 1.5 Pro.
Is there a Seedance 2.5 API that accepts real faces?
Through useapi.net, yes: the Dreamina route accepts photographic portraits on Seedance 2.5 and makes long videos of 31 to 180 seconds in one job. ByteDance’s own Seedance 2.5 guide says it “does not support directly uploading reference images or videos containing real human faces” and makes up to 30 seconds per request (as of October 2026). Send seedance-2.5 to POST videos.
