Mureka API v1 can now do everything Mureka’s own Custom page does with a cloned voice:

Characters: turn a voice clip into a reusable singer, for free
POST /music/create-advanced takes the character, a reference track, a style and your lyrics in one call
POST /music/remix: re-record a finished song in a new style
POST /music/score: sheet music (staff and numbered notation PDF, plus MusicXML) from a song or a YouTube link

This post runs all of them on one song. Every request below is the real one, every player is the real output, and every file is downloadable.

This is a non-commercial technology demo. The reference recording is Michael Jackson’s “Who Is It”, used only to show how the reference parameter works. The lyrics are new and original. Rights holders can ask us to take the post down at any time.

The reference is Michael Jackson — Who Is It: dark, tense, minor-key funk. GET /files/youtube pulls the audio from the link, and a 30-second excerpt goes up as a reference track with POST /files:

Each call returns two songs. We picked one take from each model.

V9.5 — 3:23

O2 — the same call with model O2, 3:21

Both songs carry Mureka’s control types for reference, vocal, style and character, so all four inputs went into each one. V9.5 costs 12 Mureka Gold per song and O2 costs 20. Each call took about 90 seconds and returned two songs.

The remix: a torch ballad

POST /music/remix takes the finished V9.5 take and re-records it in a new style. The lyrics carry over, and the title becomes “This Is It(Remix)”.

A remix costs the same as a song. Add async: true and a replyUrl to get it by webhook instead of waiting.

The sheet music

POST /music/score transcribes the main melody, the chords and the lyrics. It takes a song_id, a YouTube link or an uploaded file, answers in 10 to 20 seconds and costs 10 Mureka Gold. Click a page to open the full PDF.
